LASIK Postponed

So it was, a day before the LASIK operation, the hospital called to say that the Intrase machine was spoilt. Alternatively, I could use the microkeratome, which is $1,000 cheaper, but Intralase has less risk. Being the kiasi me, I opted to wait for another one to two weeks whilst the machine is being repaired.

Operation Better-Vision-at-a-cost-of-$4,700 postponed by another week or two.

Nah Beh, I'm just not meant to go for the operation.

A friend just had her eyes done. She claims her vision is great now! "No problems! Don't need glasses any more. You should get yours done!" Pause. "What's the Rugby score?" She couldn't focus on the screen!

LOL except for the $50k HKD she spent!

expat: Hmm... it takes a while for vision to become better. Contrary to what they say, it's not instant perfect eyesight.
